First Annual Fundraiser

In November 17 2012, the Stephanie S. Philip Foundation hosted a fundraiser in honor of Stephanie’s 25th birthday.  The event was a family-fun fundraiser at the St. Stephen’s Orthodox Church hall, where over 250 people attended.

 

The fundraiser raised over $17,500 in charitable donations.

 

The fundraiser revolved around three food eating contests, some of Stephanie’s favorite foods – cupcakes, biriyani, and hot wings.   Between the food eating contests, there were carnival type activites for adults and children – pie toss, dunk tank, football toss, balloon darts, moonwalk, piñata, henna design, and various foods for sale.



The following names are the winners of the grand prize donation raising contest and each individual food eating contest:
        1. Grand Prize Donation Raising Contest:
             a. 1st Place – Ronnie & Lisa Mathew (raised $2,700)
        2. Cupcake Eating Contest (5 large cupcakes with extra buttercream frosting)

        3. Biriyani Eating Contest (large plate of boneless chicken biriyani)
             a. 1st Place - Mathews George
             b. 2nd Place – Steve Mathew
        4. Wing Eating Contest (10 hot chicken wings)​
